Bakman Elementary
In honor of her and her family’s early efforts to develop the southeast Fresno area, Molly S. Bakman Elementary was built in 2008. The Bakman Family is honored to have their last name on such a great academic establishment. Bakman Elementary, located at 588 North Helm Avenue, is in the Fresno Unified School District and has approximately 750 kids from grades Kindergarten to 6th. The school has an amazing campus with a beautiful library and media center that assists students in the development of information literacy skills. The school also offers sports programs on its athletic facilities and extracurricular activities like music and art programs.
To continue its tradition of supporting the community, Bakman Water Company and its staff puts on a Carnival at Bakman Elementary every year for the kids. In 2010, our staff even built a mobile barbeque out of an old water tank in order to grill hot dogs and tri-tip at the Carnival. Please check out our photo gallery from previous years to see pictures of our staff and the kids enjoying the event.
